Vee block, slide type

Vee blocks may be stationary or movable. When they are spring-loaded, they will retract automatically. In other instances, they may be retracted by a clamping screw. The vee blocks usually locate round shafts or workpieces with cylindrical sections. Because of their centralizing action during clamping, they are advantageous to other locators. Ensure correct size of vee block in order to permit round part with different sizes.
