Product details
Clamping a shaft means to clamp it in one position; in any position as it rotates or moves lengthwise; in any position as it moves lengthwise but not rotates; and indexing a shaft in any position when it is permitted to rotate but not moves lengthwise.

This split type shaft clamping is a wedge-operated clamp, so it needs only a small amount of force. It is composed by a movable threaded part, a stationary part, and a cap screw (usually a hex socket head cap screw).
