The double pin equalizer wedge operated is useful where large size equalizers (compensators) are not applicable. Its compactness and strength gives to our fixture the required stiffness for clamping the work piece.
Is simple to manufacture, compact and easy to fit in a fixture. The wedge configuration changes the direction of the transferred force. When one contact pin is depressed, the other raises and maintains contact with the part.
