Jigs and fixtures |
Leveling jack
The jack is a part support (jacking up). After clamping the part it is prevented from being distorted or vibrated during the machining process. The leveling jack is functioning as an equalizer and not for jacking up the part.
Lid and latching lever
A good latching lever is always useful when designing jigs and fixtures. A good latch can secure a fixture’s lid in its clamping position during clamping procedure, or keep the fixture closed during transportation. The latching lever described in this document is ideal for small size lids.
Metrology indexer (4-position)
The metrology indexer is a small size indexing fixture. It is indented primary for metrology (clamping small parts relative to metrology equipment) and secondary for assembly applications and it has four indexing positions.
Oil seal removing tool
The oil seal removing tool is a hand-operated, one-size fixture for removing DIN3761-60x78x10 oil seals from housing bores.
Pinching collet chuck
The pinching collet chuck is a very common clamping fixture in medium to large scale production. It can be made in many sizes and forms in order to clamp products during lathe machining.
Plane contact equalizer, rocking
Equalizers are adjustable supports. They are used where the clamping of the work piece is not symmetrical, at rough or uneven surfaces, particularly in cast workpieces. The plane contact equalizer rocks about a spherical surface. Because of its contact surface is used only with workpieces with plane reference surfaces in good condition.
Puller (bushing)
The bushing puller is a hand-operated, one-size fixture for removing copper alloy bushes from blind housing bores.
Pusher clamp
Pusher clamps exists as part of other fixtures and jigs or standalone. They vary from simple and low cost designs to complicated ones depending always from the applicable force and the workpiece size and shape. The pusher clamp described in this document is ideal for small flat bars under low cutting forces. It is movable but easily can be fixed.
Pusher clamp, angle, screw type
Pusher clamps exists as part of other fixtures and jigs or standalone. They vary from simple and low cost designs to complicated ones depending always from the applicable force and the workpiece size and shape. The pusher clamp described in this document is ideal for small parts with cylindrical surfaces under low cutting forces. It is movable but easily can be fixed.
Pusher clamp, lever type
Pusher clamps exists as part of other fixtures and jigs or standalone. They vary from simple and low cost designs to complicated ones depending always from the applicable force and the workpiece size and shape. The pusher clamp described in this document is a lever type with jaws, compact, strong and simple in use.
